Sketchapalooza 13 starts Monday!

It is almost time for our next class! The Feeling Scrappy classroom will open up later today and our first sketch will be posted on Monday! You can register for the class in the left hand sidebar - looking forward to scrapping with you soon. :)


Class Schedule/Photo Sizes

*The sizes of photos are just to give you an idea of what is to come and how the sketches were designed. That being said we encourage you, as always, to do your own thing and use the sketches as a starting point to where ever the creative process takes you!

Week One

January 13th - Sketch #1 (2- 4x6 V photos, 6- 2x3 H photos and 3 - 2x3 V photos)
January 14th - Sketch #2 (2 - 3x4 H and 1 3x4 V photo)
January 15th - Sketch #3 (1 - 4x6V, 1 - 4x6 H and 3 - 3x3 photos)
January 16th - Sketch #4 (1 - 4x6 H and 2 - 4x4 photos)
January 17th - Sketch #5 - Double Page (2 - 4x6 V, 6 - 3.5x3.5, 3 3inch circles, and 3 2.25 in circles.)

Week Two

January 20th - Sketch #6 (2 - 3x4V, 3 - 3x3 photos and 2- 2x2 photos)
January 21st - Sketch #7 (3 - 4 inch circles or 3 4x4 square photos)
January 22nd - Sketch #8 (2 - 4x6V photos)
January 23rd - Sketch #9 (1 -  4.5x4 and 2 - 4x4 photos)
January 24th - Sketch #10 - Double Page (4 - 4x6 V, 1- 4x6 H, 2 - 2.5x2.5 and 2 - 2x2 photos)

Week Three

January 27th - Sketch #11 (3 - 4x4 and 4 - 2x2 photos)
January 28th - Sketch #12 (1 - 4x4  and 2- 3x4 H photos)
January 29th - Sketch #13 (4 - 3.25 inch circles, 1 - 2.25 inch circle and 1 - 2x3 H photo)
January 30th - Sketch #14 (1 - 3.5x5V, 1 - 3.5x5H, 1- 3x4V, 1 - 3.5x3.5 and 2 - 2x2 photos)
January 31st - Sketch #15 - Double Page (4 - 3x5 V and 2 - 5x7 V or 4 - 2.5x3.5 H photos)

Week Four

February 3rd - Sketch #16 (1- 8x10V or an 8x10 block of photos)
February 4th - Sketch #17 (1- 4x4, 3 - 2x3H and 3 - 2x3V photos)
February 5th - Sketch #18 (1 - 4x6 H, 2 - 3.5x3.5, and 2 - 2x2 photos)
February 6th - Sketch #19 (8 - 3x3 photos)
February 7th - Sketch #20 - Double Page (4 - 4x6 H, 2 - 4x4 and 2 - 3x4V photos)

February 17th Class Ends - Prize drawing held!

March 3rd  Classroom Closes

Sketchapalooza 13 - January 12, 2014

We are excited to announce our next class - Sketchapalooza 13! Class will start on January 12, 2014 and run for over 5 weeks. This will be a perfect time of year to devote to your memory keeping! The holiday rush is over and everyone is ready to settle in and get to business :)  Let's spend the month together creating beautiful scrapbook pages :)

During this class you will be provided with tons of brand new original sketches (5 per week!) with examples of finished pages from our talented designers during this month long course. This fast paced, exciting class is suitable for any level of scrapper and caters to both traditional and digital artists alike. It is perfect for anyone who loves working with sketches. Never worked with sketches before? Give it a try you will love it!

Designer Highlight: Julie Schmehl

One more week until our Sketchapalooza 12 class begins! The last designer I will be highlighting for this class is Julie Schmehl. We are thrilled to have her back to deign for this class. FS Designer Highlight: Stacey Rhea

It is almost time for our next Feeling Scrappy class! Sketchapalooza 12 starts October 7th. I am excited to introduce you to another one of our designers. Stacey Rhea has been a part of the Feeling Scrappy family for awhile now and I have long wanted her to design for a class. Her digital pages are amazing and she keeps the focus on the photos. She is sweet and funny and I know you will love her sketches too! Below is a little about Stacey in her own words:

Stacey Rhea

I started paper scrapbooking almost 15 years ago.  I completed over 90 traditional scrapbooks until two years ago when I switched to digital scrapbooking.  I instant fell in love and have not looked back.  I love the "no mess" part of digital, just minimize my program and come back to my page when I have time. :) I am a "bad" influence on my friends and am converting many of them into digital scrapbookers.

 

I am a divorced mom of three who loves photography. I am the team photographer for our high school football team.  LOVE IT!  I am very privileged to have a photograph hanging in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Even more excited that the photograph is of one of my children.  Justin (20) is now a junior in college studying mechanical engineering but played football in high school.  Josh (17) is a senior in high school and an avid football player. I am enjoying his senior year with lots of pictures.  My baby-girl is Jenn (15).  She is my cheerleader/volleyball player.  I also have two golden retrievers, Jake and Jazzy.  Most of my pages revolve around my kids and keeping up their books so you will see many sports pages from me.

I am so looking forward to adding my clean simple line pages to this class.

FS Designers: Amanda Bay

As we gear up for Sketchapalooza 12 that starts this October, I thought you might like to meet the designers for the class. I will be posting each one here over the next few days with a few sample pages they did in our last class. First up is Amanda Bay!

Amanda has become an old friend of Feeling Scrappy.
