Gingerbread

This smells as wonderful as it tastes! Such a yummy fall treat-I hope you'll enjoy this quick bread as much as we do.

Gingerbread
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup boiling water
2 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until done.
