At our house, St. Patrick's day means Shamrock Shakes for the kids after school! My kids have never actually had a McDonald's Shamrock Shake - we make our own (Just vanilla milk shakes with green food coloring, whip cream and green sprinkles) but they look forward to them every year. I did a little search on google for Shamrock Shakes and you would not believe the amount of information available! One thing I wanted to share today is this old commercial from 1980 for Shamrock Shakes and it sure brought back memories for me. Enjoy!

My best friend in grade school had a birthday on St. Patty's Day, and her party was always at McDonald's...with Shamrock Shakes, of course! We will definitely be doing this this year!
