Here is a quick and easy granola recipe that you and your family can enjoy!
4 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup pecan halves
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup figlets, trimmed and halved
Combine the first 4 ingredients in a bowl, mix well.
In a small saucepan combine the next four ingredients until the butter is melted and everything is smooth.
Pour the warm mixture over the dry ingredients, stir well.
Pour your granola onto a foil lined baking sheet and spreadout evenly. Bake in a preheated 275^ oven for 1 hour. Stir every 20 minutes.
The last step is to add the raisins and figlets when it is done cooking - stir well.
This is fantastic alone or served with plain yogurt! Enjoy!
