Summer treats

We have been enjoying the warm weather but we've also needed something to help cool us down. One easy thing we do is make our own popsicles with fruit juice using store bought molds. The kids also love fruit smoothies. We use frozen fruit such as strawberries, blueberries and bananas and blend them up with some apple juice.

We also made some frozen banana pops for a special treat this weekend.

We used regular old chocolate, nuts and sprinkles for ours, but here are some variations-

Have fun finding new and yummy ways to cool off this summer. Enjoy!!
