WE celebrate our Thanksgiving in October, but there is still a favourite tradition! We take Jonah to a greenspace and he collects leaves, pinecones, wildflowers to make the Thanksgiving centrepiece for dinner. It is a tradition that I hope carries on for years to come. The family time, the TURKEY - YUM! and of course, being Thanksful for what we have. Happy Thanksgiving to my wonderful friends!

FOOD! :) Just kidding...though I do love the food! I love the relaxed atmosphere of Thanksgiving Day. Just hanging out with family and friends with no agenda except to hang out. :)

Fun and great goodies!
I love Thanksgiving because of time spent with family that doesn't live around here. It's fun to catch up! That's when my sister in law and I go through each others scrapbooks! Love that part!

My favorite Thanksgiving things are the Macy's parade and Jellied Cranberry sauce!

What a great giveaway!! I love these....and what I love most about Thanksgiving is that my family (parents and siblings) always tries to be together, even though we live all over the country.

I love those little papers! Good luck, ladies! I know I can't win them, but just thought I'd share that I love hanging out AFTER the big meal on T-day with my family. We are all stufed and lay on the ground to rest. We usually have lots of laughs and just enjoy hanging out.

Oh, those are pretty!
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is being with my whole family. It is great that no one has anywhere else they need to rush off to and we can have a wonderful meal and sit around playing games or watching football. :)

We have always flown to have Thanksgiving with family in other states. This is only our second year that we will actually be staying home and having Thanksgiving in our home with our immediate little family. Last year I was a little sad about it. It ended up being so wonderful. I loved cooking with my children and they loved it too. It was fun making our own traditions. We are doing it again this year. We will have Thanksgivings with family in other states again in other years but this year we are looking forward to just being at home with our four and having a nice relaxed day of cooking and remembering why we are thankful for each other.

Good friends, good food and GREAT memories. We have celebrated Thanksgiving with another family for 10 yrs now. We both have family out-of-state and travel home to see them at Christmas time.
They have 5 kids and our 4 kids make for a very noisy house...would I have it any other way...no.

I love having my family come in from out of state for the weekend. We enjoy hanging out, shopping, and watching movies. The worst part is taking the annual family pictures with my Dad behind the camera! We have to take soooo many pictures. By the time we are done, we are not smiling! lol
